Marrakech - Ait Ben Barka village

After being picked up from your hotel, you will begin this wonderful excursion from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. Your first stop will be after 1 hour and 25 minutes of driving in a small village called Ait Ben Barka, near the large Toufliht nature park. You will admire the breathtaking landscapes, captivated by the red mountains of this region.

Tizi n'Tichka pass - Ouarzazate (lunch break)

You will make a stop at a dizzying site called “Tizi n’Tichka,” which is a pass at an altitude of 2260m, offering an exceptional natural panorama and a perfect vantage point for stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. Once you arrive in Ouarzazate, you will embark on a journey to explore the city of cinema by visiting the grand Atlas Studios. Considered the largest film production site in the world, it is located 3 km from Ouarzazate and is highly favored by filmmakers from around the globe. The style and decoration will immerse you in the best scenes from American series and films such as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Asterix and Obelix, and many more. Afterwards, you will head to one of the city’s finest restaurants to enjoy an authentic lunch of Saharan cuisine, which offers a wide range of traditional local dishes.

Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou - Return to Marrakech

Afterwards, you will head towards the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-certified World Heritage site. Similar to the studios in Ouarzazate, this Kasbah is well-known among film enthusiasts, as several American movies and series have been filmed there. Following your visit to the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou and with memories of this magnificent palace, you will meet at the departure point where your driver will take you back to your accommodation in Marrakech.
